website development
Each company we've engaged with since 2002 is different: they have unique brands, online goals, business processes, customer expectations and, most importantly, they all have different personalities driving their various businesses.
No two websites we've done for our clients are the same, we just don't believe you can successfully grow a client's business by duplicating solutions or using off the shelf templates.
That's why we take the time to consult with our clients, so that we understand where they're coming from and where they want to get to. We work with them to build a coherent strategy that encompasses marketing, corporate identity, wireframing, functionality, business process, content generation, resources and SEO best practices.
We've been very successful in building businesses online, increasing their revenue online streams, creating efficiencies and promoting new ideas as technology moves on.
We work with small to medium sized businesses that are serious about their brand and achieving their potential.

Tour America
Nexus451 was asked to redesign and redevelop the TourAmerica.ie website in 2007. TourAmerica was set up by Mary McKenna 15 years ago and is today Ireland's leading North-American travel specialists with more than 50 employees. In 2009 the general public voted TourAmerica the Tour Operator Of The Year at the Irish Travel Consumer Awards.
Nexus451 started our business relationship with tourAmerica with a complete redesign of the site, making it more user friendly by implementing carefully structured page layouts, content management and site architecture which guides customers and company information users quickly to the data they needed. By defining clear pathways to information users are brought into a hassle free environment that gives them the access they need when they want it, which, in a service based industry, is absolutely crucial to driving and completing sales.
Alongside the design & content management work carried out for the frontend of the website, Nexus451 also developed integrated software solutions with third party systems, as well as internal systems. This business process infrastructure allows TourAmerica staff to manage content, bookings, SMS Alerts, process payments and provides fully detailed reports and analysis.
Nexus451 has also designed and developed a customer portal for Tour America which enables clients to manage bookings online through an intuitive interface connecting directly to the Salesforce.com cloud platform. This work involved integrating Salesforce.com with Tour America's existing system (TravelBox) and automating imports of existing data into their new Salesforce Organisation. Through the customer portal clients can view all their Tour America bookings (new and old), make payments against bookings, download their itinerary/invoices/hotel vouchers and log cases with Tour America. All these thousands of information transactions occur on Salesforce.com's cloud platform.

Nexus451 works closely with Cunningham Lindsey's IT department to ensure best practices are always followed, that each step in any process is fully architected before data interfaces are designed and functionality is developed. Every project we work on is tested thoroughly, by system users, before being approved by key decision makers.
We're delighted to have built up such a strong working relationship with Cunningham Lindsey over the years. We believe this has allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of their business, their information management strategies, and so provide better solutions based on the knowledge shared.

A&D Wejchert & Partners
A&D Wejchert & Partners is an award winning architectural firm established in Dublin in 1964 by Andrzej Wejchert. A&D Wejchert recently published a book that set out to capture the essence of the practice since its inception, and took that opportunity to redevelop their website. While the website needed to reflect the themes of the book it would also become a repository that would grow and expand to include subsequent additions to their prestigious portfolio.
Nexus451 worked closely with A&D Wejchert, poring over vast amounts of data, to define a coherent flow of information to site users. There was a desire on both sides to find a balance between functional requirements and an asthetic coherence in a way that is both useable and engaging, a balance which enhances and promotes the core philosophy of A&D Wejchert. We believe the solution designed and developed by Nexus451 is a fitting showcase for such a highly acclaimed body of work.

Calor
Calor Teoranta (Calor) is one of Ireland's largest distributors of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to the commercial, industrial and domestic markets. Nexus451 was originally comissioned to build a customer portal, a place where Calor customers could review their account, place orders and make payments in a secure online environment. The site we developed, mycalorgas.com, easily exceeded initial customer expectations in terms of take up and useage. This has allowed Calor to make more efficient use of in-house resources and time; the website now integrates with existing ERP enterprise applications (Microsoft Navision) and also takes bill payments directly which removes repetitious manual data entry.
Since completing this work Nexus451 has been commissioned by Calor to work on another project, which is nearing completion. This second system is aimed specifically at Calor Dealers and Distributors, it's primary focus being to improve the way in which orders are taken over the telephone by the Dealer/Distributor, assigned to distribution schedules for drivers and subsequent delivery details being reported back to the system. Previously up to 90% of delivery dockets were filled in by Dealers and Distributors by hand and updated on the core system manually. Nexus451 is working with Calor to develop a system that will, via web services, allow Dealers and Distributors to input data through a browser feeding directly into the ERP Enterprise applications (Microsoft Navision) for invoicing. Again, like the previous project, this allows Calor a far greater degree of efficiency in terms of their resources and time, with more immediate updates of stock levels throughout their distribution network.
